International Aid Services Denmark (IAS DK) was established in 2000 as an umbrella organization for the Pentecostal Churches’ humanitarian and development work.
IAS DK works to improve the lives of some of the most marginalized children living in poor areas and fragile contexts. Key area is inclusive education, and through training, advocacy and improvement of school’s infrastructure, IAS DK works to create more acceptance and better learning opportunities for children with special needs on local and national level. Moreover IAS DK capacity builds local partners and civil society groups by training in areas such as human rights and advocacy.
IAS DK are also present in humanitarian settings working with relief aid, access to clean water and sanitation, and emergency education.
The majority of IAS DK´s work are based in East Africa and the Horn of Africa, but through the Danish member churches’ partners, IAS DK is also present in other parts of the word.
IAS DK has offices in Copenhagen and Brande, and we are a member of the international IAS Alliance, represented in 18 countries and with head office in Stockholm, Sweden.
